Why Is My PayPal Account Limited?
Ok, so I opened a Paypal account a few months back. Jumped thru all of the hoops to get verified. Ok fine. Sent my daughter a couple of payments to help her with some bills and other things. Her and her family were out of town on vacation and I told her I would send her money before she left. She asked if I could hold off until they were there to make sure she had enough money to come home on. Ok, no problem.
So a week before she is to head home, I send her money–just like I have done in the past. Now she goes to use her Paypal debit card and she only has $12.xx in her account. She calls me and I call Paypal and they tell me I need to go online and answer a few questions to AGAIN verify my identity and the money would bew released.
So I do this and guess what ?? Money is STILL being held. So the money has been taken out of my checking account and Paypal has claimed their fee but there is $1500.00 on hold until God knows when.
I am beyond pissed. I did everything Paypal asked me to do and now I need to wait in line while whomever investigates the claim. I am SO done with this company. I believe it is just a big scam. They sure took their money from the transaction quick enough and are now gaining interest on MY money that they are holding.
So, I had to figure out another way to send my daughter money so she could enjoy the rest of her trip. I was paying for the trip as a graduation gift to my grandson. Thanks Paypal for really making this difficult on all of us, but YOU !!

There is an Attorney in Charleston, WV named Rusty Webb who has started a Class Action law suit against PayPal for double dipping into checking accounts.
