Who’s side is PayPal On? Their side!

Abot six months ago, I sold a set of sterling silverware worth $150. The auction went well and I ignored the fact that the buyer had only one comment (new buyer). Days after they received the item, a credit card dispute was made and paypal gave the buyer their money back. Paypal now turned to me to pay it back. It seems criminal of them to turn to the seller who trusted them to help in the transaction (mind getting fees for the transaction) asking the trusted seller to pay them back. I contacted the buyer asking for the item back and never got a response. After Paypal sent my dispute they locked my account, so I can’t even investigate it except through old emails. I’ve been a Paypal customer for over ten years and this wasn’t the first time they’ve done this to me.

I was also a buyer once and never received an item from a seller. I went through dispute with Paypal and the process was so elementary. They responded, the account was closed. No money. Not in your favor. So I lost again.

So now as a seller, I refuse to pay them back and they sent it to the creditors. I’ve considered going to the police and see if I can file a complaint. I will never use Paypal again and will tell my friends and business associates as well.
