Way to get scammed

I’m in the middle of my 4th claim with a buyer. I’m certain I’ll be screwed yet again. I sell software. In the last couple years I’ve sold on ebay, only to have buyers install it, using the serial number and then filing a claim as “not as described.” Paypal continues to side with buyer. The buyer then mails me the used and now worthless software back and I’m stuck taking the complete and utter loss.
