Was forced to use PayPal, never again!
I made a donation to a charity in Mexico, where I was staying, on Christmas. I was told the payment went through. I wanted to pay directly with my credit card, but the payment was processed through paypal. That might be at the request of the charity. I’m not sure. In any case, I got a notice that the payment ($500) was reversed, and someone (me, the charity?) was charged $14.80. I never pay with with paypal if I can help it, and I resent being forced to do it, especially when the payment doesn’t go through, and they charge an additional fee.

I too learned the hardway that Paypal’s fees ADD UP. They are the kings of bait and switch. I went with them to run a few orders (I’m currently unemployeed and need a way to make ends meet) I was suckered in because I thought there was no cost but it ended up costing me upwards of about $50 to sell a few items. NEVER AGAIN
You are not the only one who went threw rough times with PayPal. I purchased this cute rocking chair for my little girl, end up getting charged more than I was suppose to get charged. Not happy called and complained, was promised a refund and never got the refund. My first and last time I am going to buy something with PayPal!!
