Using PayPal was a big mistake!
I recently opened a Paypal account which was activated without any hassles. The trouble started when I received payment from my client in UK and wanted to withdraw the same to my bank account.
I tried to add my debit/credit card but for some unknown reason it could not be validated. Then I used the same bank account (as of my debit card) and linked it to my Paypal account.
Now when I tried to withdraw the amount ($76.00) it says my account is limited. I checked the resolution center link and it says I need to verify my current location. I tried to use the “Resolve” tab and it perpetually gives the same error-
“The system is unavailable at this time”.
Next I sent numerous mails to them and also uploaded a copy of my insurance policy to validate my address. All I get from Paypal is a standard autoreply which does not provide any solution.
Now my hard earned money is stuck with them and I can neither withdraw it nor close the account and get a check for the balance. The rules are absurd and ridiculous, why don’t they validate these details before opening the account so that their customers are not caught off guard? We can find other ways to get paid from the client.
Paypal’s customer service sucks. They never respond to your queries and the telephone numbers always busy or out of reach. I think I would have done better to donate the money for some charitable cause instead of opening an account with Paypal.

Worst customer service I’ve ever seen from a large company. Robot chat help, always busy phone number, and the nerve to call themselves the most loved way to pay.
