Unauthorized transaction from an online vendor
I notice an unauthorized transaction from an online vendor. Call then within and hour of the transaction taking place. They reversed it back to PayPal within 20 minutes where it showed up. I called PayPal and informed them that the transaction had been refunded from the vendor and not to transfer funds from my back up funding. The next day they requested the funds from my bank knowing the transaction had been refunded the previous day and hit my bank twice more after saying they would stop it after 2 attempts. Promises to give me the $70 in NFS generated by these attempts after the bank refused even after it was explained it was an unauthorized transaction from PayPal. eventually I ended up owing the bank $400 in fees and the bank account was closed. Pay Pal say they never said they would reverse the fees to the bank and then offered to open a fraud investigation 3 months after I reported the unauthorized transaction to them and request they stop accessing my account.
