Unauthorized access to my checking account
I had a buyer post duplicate transactions to my Paypal account. I had to refund both transactions. The first went fine. The second was short the .30 fee Paypal charges (which I had understood there were no fees for refunds) and PayPal deducted $301.57 from my checking account without notifying me!
If I had had a low balance in my checking account, Paypal could have caused me to incur NFS charges which my bank would have had no sympathy for because they are just as greedy as PayPal. Not to mention Paypal having equal or greater authority than my own in my bank account!
I can’t wait for someone to start a class-action lawsuit against PayPal, I would be the first one to sign on the dotted line.
