Seller lied about everything

I’ve just bought a tent from ebay(UK) which was over double the weight stated on the advert but I was prepared to pay a premium for a lightweight tent, for solo trekking. Despite emailing seller confirming details about the tent before bidding, to be totally sure, he ‘lied to my face’ about the weight and model of the tent. He also ripped me off on the postage to Ireland. I have since discovered this particular tent is for sale, brand new from a legitimate tent dealer, for less than I paid him for a 4 year old second hand one, which has had quite a bit of use/abuse. I am just trying to find out as much as I can about PayPal etc before contacting him. I am always totally straight with people and am so annoyed about the blatant deceipt of this man, that I just can’t walk away without trying to get some sort of justice.
