Paypal’s seller protection is a joke
I recently sold a rare antique beer sign on eBay. I did everything step by step to protect myself as a seller per Paypal and Ebay policy. The buyer however claimed that the sign arrived damaged and filed claim against me. I provided proof to both Paypal and Ebay that the sign returned to my by the buyer was not the sign I shipped yet both ruled in favor of the buyer and refunded his money. Not only did I lose the money for the sign but also Ebay is demanding payment of the seller fees as well. Neither company did anything to protect me, the seller.
