Paypal withholding payment 21 days
Ebay and Paypal, are breaking FEDERAL laws. I too am effected by this CRIME eBay and Paypal, are doing by withholding funds for 21 days. I have filed a report with the Federal Trade Commission @ 1-877-382-4357. They have asked me to urge MORE people to call them and file a case against eBay and Paypal. Yes, they are breaking the law. When you call, after you’ve heard all the options, press “0″, and you will be connected to a live respresentative. Once they have obtained the information from you, they will give you a reference case number. They also, want us to file a complaint through the Internet Crimes Complaint Center @ http://www.ic3.gov. I have done all of the above, please DO THE SAME. We can’t beat this if we don’t get involved.
They CANNOT hold funds from a buyer to a seller, or whoever they have retained Paypal to pay.

Filing my FTC complaint now. Just got the notice that my account may be “high risk” so funds will be held for 21 days. Nonsense. I’ve been trading since before PayPal existed and from its beginning; never a return, never a fraud, never a complaint, a 100% positive rating on eBay. This is PURELY a stunt to create a float to generate interest for eBay-PayPal while denying money to legitimate customers of long standing. As soon as I get the complaint in I’ll be looking at alternatives to PayPal.
