Paypal trying to force customers to use their credit cards
Paypal policy no longer allows your credit card to be primary, you either have to apply for and use their Paypal credit card or assign a bank account as primary. This means you now have to monitor your bank account constantly so you do not experience overdrafts to the account. Then there is no way to shut it off if overdrafts hit since they attempt twice to collect from your bank account from each transaction.
Paypal refused to close my account until they got their money, since their policy is to try to collect twice from your bank account before finally charging your credit card. It is a policy that forces Paypal users to use Paypal credit cards rather than a third party credit card, it is calculating and done deliberately to force customers off third party credit cards. Should you have a series of fraud transactions, it could cost you hundreds of dollars or more in overdraft fees from your bank account, since bank accounts do not have the same protection as credit cards.
