PayPal told me they no longer want my business
Had feedback of nearly 1000, then took bad with heart attack never used account for nearly 2 yrs. my wife and daughter had their own accounts. just after xmas paypal froze both mine and wife’s accounts. mine had no cash in it, but wife’s did, tried sending all info no luck, then i get email saying they no longer wanted my business, glad i had no cash in account. but my wife’s that did have cash in her account and they froze it, when ebay wanted there fees i told them they were in paypal ,they said tough if i did not make a one time payment they would send in debt collectors to recover there fees. the 180 days are now up and they want me to phone to sort the account ,no thanks they keep you on a premium phone line as long as they can, then say they are closing the account now on the uk ebay site you have to offer paypal as a method of payment, so now they a monopoly

they no longer want your business just your wife’s money. they are the scum on earth. I hate paypal. let ebay send the debt collectors and then you can just send them along to paypal who has the money. you have done nothing wrong and paypal is f*&king with you for no reason. there are alternatives to sell on ebay, you don’t have to use paypal but ebay wont tell you this. do a searck for “ebay uk accepted payments policy” and you’ll see plenty of paypal options for ebay on ebays website!
So they couldn’t steal from you so they stole from your wife. That is a bunch of bullshit. The whole company is a bunch of bullshit. Look around for another payment processor. There are plenty out there that work with Ebay. I personally went with a company through merchantinc and have been really impressed by them. You might want to check them out
This doesn’t come as a shock to me. This is simply how they operate. Cant get money from you so they take it from your wife and then Ebay wants to threaten with debt collection. I would tell them all to go screw themselves. The antics of this company are unbelievable. Try find a real merchant processor
