PayPal’s Supposed “Seller Protection”
An item I sold on Ebay and shipped via the USPS never made it to the buyer. The postal worker did not get the required signature for the insured item. Instead of holding the money in trust until my claim w/USPS was resolved, Paypal debited my account, eventually sending my debt to a collection agency even though I was in touch with them several times to let them know how things were proceeding.
Nothing in the entire process was any fault of mine, yet I was made to feel as though I was attempting to evade payment. There is NO “Seller Protection” offered through PayPal, they are just another soul-less corporation that really does NOT care about the people who use their services.
I’m glad I found this site as I will happily be jumping from the PayPal bandwagon.
