Paypal Supports Criminal Counterfeiting
I purchased a memory card on EBay and have learned that my experience is a common occurrence. Vendors from China and Hong Kong, who are known merchants of counterfeit/hacked computer memory are allowed to continue using EBay and PayPal and in fact seem to be in good standing with them.
In order to get your money back from these vendors, you have to pay to return the illegal item. This makes EBay a partner in crime. I tried notifying the appropriate agencies responsible for prosecuting such activity but they are unresponsive. There are lots of consumers who have been cheated and many more who are not aware that they have been cheated. This is HUGE and nothing is being done!
