PayPal places a hold on my account for no reason.

I started selling on ebay last year, and initially had a hold put on my account because I was new. After a month of stellar eBay feedback, they lifted the hold. I took a break from selling on eBay, and just recently started back up. About twenty minutes before my most recent two auctions ended, paypal put another hold on my account for absolutely no reason. I have a perfect seller rating from ebay. Nothing I’ve sold has been over $100. My eBay account has never been late. Yet, I have a hold on my account. When I call, I can get no reason until I ask to speak to a supervisor, who then says it’s because there has been a spike in the amount of money in my account…in the past month I’ve had less than $300 in sales. So, basically, they put a hold on my account because I was using it. Paypal still collects their fee, yet I have to wait to have access to my funds. Meanwhile, they get to collect interest on the funds being held in mine, and however many other people’s accounts.

This is crooked and fraudulent. Paypal needs to be regulated like any other financial institution…or just be shut down. I know they’ll never get another cent from me.

Paypal sucks. They steal your money right in front of you. eBay sucks as well. What the f is the point of selling pickup only items? People don’t explain certain items are for pickup only in their descriptions and then you find out after you purchase??? Total BS. Yes, it’s listed, but in little tiny letters that are not obvious to the unsupervised eye. Sell to pawn shops instead!!
