Paypal Payment Hold Policy Is A Joke

I used to think the world of Paypal, but I have changed my thinking. Every transacation I make (and that is very few) Paypal holds it because the item hasn’t been shipped or a customer hasn’t left feedback.

I spoke to a representative at Paypal and explained to her that we, as sellers, cannot make the customer leave feeback for us. I also went on to say that this policy they have come up with is ridiculous, and was only created to protect Paypal themselves- not the buyers.

I do not remember signing or agreeing to a policy that allows them to hold my money. Think about how stupid that sounds! Why would I agree to let PayPal hold my payments like this? What kind of sense does that make?

The rep told me to allow 24-48 hours to have my information submitted to the crooks in charge, and that they would be the ones to determine whether or not I qualify for a payment release. I told her I was submitting a complaint and closing my Paypal account as soon as my funds are released.

If anyone has any other options for accepting payments on Ebay, I am all ears.
