Paypal nightmare that never ends
My paypal experience is just as bad as this other guys which statements I’ve been following. If you read too much slang in this message, that’s because I’m finaly discharging my anger, since I never used any bad word while contacting paypal, although I reallly wanted.
First of all, last January was added a credit card to my paypal account, which isn’t mine. It isn’t mine because I don’t have a credit card. January 13th there was an unauthorized payment from this credit card and my account got limited. So, they asked to confirm that this payment was unauthorized, which I did, and then to change my password, which I also did.
This didn’t solve the problem. After that, I received an e-mail stating that in order to solve the problem, they needed a credit card monthly statement, a monthly statement of my bank account, plus a copy of my ID card.
And the war started. I sent an e-mail saying that I didn’t do that transaction and that I didn’t have a credit card, so I couldn’t give them a credit card statement. I received a message from the departed saying that they could provide any help and that the case would be reviewed by the expecific department.
As I didn’t receive any other replys, I sent another 2 messages plus an complain to the EU (Which I found out usuless) asking for further explanations on the case, since they never cleared me up, and stating again that teh credit card wasn’t mine because I didn’t have one. After this last one, I received a message stating that they were really sorry and that the request would be sent to the department and I would be conctated again. I received another messsage requesting a credit card statement and the other stuff. They must be kidding me.
I sent back another e-mail stating again that I couldn’t provide a credit card statement and that they weren’t making any effort to solve the problem or to even understand the nature of it. They sent an e-mail back with the sublject ”Why was you payment declined” (Are you fucking kidding me?). This e-mail was beautiful. Just another e-mail full of crap.
Then, I filed another useless complain in the EU. I stated again that the information that they were sending was useless and that they were incompetents. I also said that if they are not trying to solve the problem, then they should stop telling me they are very sorry bla bla bla.. and I also said again that the I didn’t have a credit card. As I also said in the other messages, the only credit card I had so far was canceled in 2010. Result? ”I understand from your email Mr. Paiva, that you do not have the card ending XXXX 1009 any longer.” WTF?? I never had this credit card, that’s what I’m trying to say!!!! Give me another solution please!!. Ok, one last try. I sent another e-mail explaining everything, but this time to the chargeback. Their reply was even more beautiful. ”We have received your reply. The information that you have provided has been attached to the case. We are currently working with your credit card company to resolve the dispute. Please contact your credit card company directly regarding additional details and/or concerns, as the chargeback was initiated through them and they have the most recent information.” But WTF is this? They are working with ”MY” credit card company? On what credit card??
FUCK YOU Paypal. After this, I awaited for another reply, since they were working with my credit card company lol and while I was awaiting, I investigated this kind of paypal cases.
After a few weeks, I sent them an e-mail stating that I wouldn’t provide any of the information they asked since I didn’t trust them (why would I give a bank account statement as long as my ID??? why the hell do they want all this???). They told me basecly to go fuck myself. in other words, of course.
This is the end of the story with paypal. I hope you have enjoied it and congradulations on the website agains paypal.
