PayPal Limited Account Because Not 18 Years Old
My son had a PayPal account for a year with no issues selling or buying. Once he applied for a PayPal debit card, PayPal limited his Account. They advised it was because he was under 18.
So, as an adult I opened an account with my son as a Student and requested the funds be transferred to my account. They claimed they couldn’t transfer the funds because the other account was limited and would have to wait 180 days from the date of the LAST transaction, which was November 4th. My son had transactions that were more than 180 days old, yet PayPal claimed they cannot transfer the earlier funds because they only go by the LAST transaction.
There is something very wrong with a company that can arbitrarily hold your money hostage! How do we get an agency to take action on the unfair business practices of PayPal?
