Paypal is illegally holding my funds and won’t release them.
I am a small seller on Ebay. After I listed about 15-30 items and had over $350.00 in my paypal account, they froze the account and told me that because I was not an consistent seller that they would put a hold on my funds. They expect me to pay out of pocket to mail my Customer’s item and after I prove that the item has been delivered / 5 days later they will release the funds. I did NOT have any prior notification that they were going to do this. They just froze the money and then when I called in, they explained it to me. I cannot mail out any auction purchases and now the customer will think i have stolen their money. Someone please stop the insanity and put these execs in prison for theft !!!!

Lona, have your buyer, contact Paypal and demand them to release funds to you! These buyers have paid Paypal, to pay the buyer and Paypal is withholding funds and not releasing to the sellers. (They have figured out another way to make money on our money, by withholding and earning interest.) I told my buyer I WOULD NOT SHIP ITEM, UNTIL PAYPAL paid me. I was NOT going to pay for shipping out of my pocket and wait for feedback or verification. What they are doing is illegal.
I have filed a report with the Federal Trade Commission @ 1-877-382-4357. They have asked me to urge MORE people to call them and file a case against eBay and Paypal. Yes, they are breaking the law. When you call, after you’ve heard all the options, press “0?, and you will be connected to a live respresentative. Once they have obtained the information from you, they will give you a reference case number. They also, want us to file a complaint through the Internet Crimes Complaint Center @ http://www.ic3.gov. I have done all of the above, please DO THE SAME.
