PayPal holds funds without warning
On 03/23/11 I received payments for several sales totaling $120.00.
On 03/24/11 I transferred $160.00 from my bank account to my PayPal account.
On 03/25/11 I purchased an item for $163.00. However, apparently none of the money from the sales or the deposit had cleared. This included my $160.00 deposit from my banking account, which I was told by PayPal would not clear until 03/28/11.
PayPal did not bother to make me aware of this problem, meanwhile I purchased another item for $8.00 before the funds had cleared. So in turn, both of these payments were taken from my checking account, not my PayPal account, to cover these purchases.
I should have had close to $280.00 in my PayPal account, and I think that the least they could do is forewarn of any problems that could cost their customers money. Seems like all they care about is that they make money. Just another company screwing the little man.
