Paypal has been holding my money for 6 years
I opened a Paypal account in Taiwan about 6 years ago since I was a resident in that countries.They allowed me to open the account and received about 560 us$ from a buyer all was OK but I could not withdraw the money., now after 6 year I still cannot withdraw the money, in between I moved to an other countries. The account is still here at my name I can access it the money 560 us$ is still in my account but I am not allowed to transfer it to another paypal account or get the money !! what shall I do any lawyer could help.
If I cannot withdraw my money why they then allowed me to open the account !! If you allow someone to open an account and allow him to deposit money on it , you should allow to withdraw as well the money . It is my money so why is paypal holding it?

After 6 years of Paypal holding your funds I think you can call it stealing. I wonder how much interest they have made off your money over the years? Have they given you any information of things you would have to do in order to withdraw the money or are they just holding it forever? Like you said why would they approve you for an account and let you collect payment if they aren’t going to give you your money. Doesn’t make sense.
Paypal has been holding your money for 6 years. I have heard it all now and that is totally bogus…6 years!! Come on Paypal it’s not your money! I know reaching out to Paypal is a task in itself but they HAVE to give you some help here. Have they not communicated with you at all? You just have to determine if its worth your frustration to deal with them daily to try to get your cash back. The problem with Paypal is that they can do and DO do whatever they want at our expense!
