PayPal gave full refund of product that was exactly as listed
I listed and sold a used cell phone. I represented that it was used, out of contract, but that the phone would start up after it was charged.
The buyer refused to follow my directions to change the password, and then filed a dispute with PayPal claiming that the item was not as described; all because they couldn’t change the password.
PayPal found in favor of the buyer, and refunded the buyer for the phone. I appealed, showing my listing and it’s description, and the buyers emails proving that the phone was exactly what I said it was.
PayPal, however, refused to reverse their decision.
