PayPal Demands Verification For No Reason
on April 26, 2010 at 11:18 PMI use Ebay frequently with nearly 500 purchases, not a single bad mark on my feedback. Some years ago I set up a PayPal account which PayPal froze for three months without explanation. Because of this I opted to make my purchases using a credit card, in fact a PayPal sponsored credit card.
This was successful for several years until recently, when once again PayPal restricted my account without explanation. PayPal demanded financial data which had already been provided to the credit card company, which guarantees payments.
I suspect this is a shakedown racket designed to force me into adding funds to my long defunct PayPal account. Progressive and intelligent policy makers reward good customers, they do not victimize them.
