PayPal Customer service cost me an overdraft fee
I accidentally used a closed bank account to fund a payment through PayPal. Of course the payment was rejected and I was charged an overdraft fee, my fault.
I called PayPal, explained the problem and removed the old bank information and add new bank to my PayPal account. The rep says it will be charged against my charge card (just as their website states). No, it again goes to closed account and I get hit with another overdraft fee.
I get a call from a PayPal supervisor, and all he can do is apologize. That does not pay the second fee, which was PayPal’s fault that I got charged.
