Paypal Chargeback Victim
Sold a TV & Amplifier on eBay for £450. I sent an ebay invoice with my mobile and requested paypal payment within 48 hours.
The winning bidder called, requested my address and paid by paypal. He called back and asked when he could come and collect. Came around that evening and all seemed fine.
The next day paypal informed me that the full amount was being put on hold as the paypal owner had started the chargeback procedure. As soon as I clicked that the item had been collected in person, my account had the funds taken out of my account and paid back into the buyers.
Calling the mobile phone used during the communication was useless – no longer connected. Emailed – and the owner said that it was fraudulent use of their account. Paypal said I should have posted the TV & Amp and got a tracking number. That they do not offer seller protection for items that are collected in person. So I asked them about selling:
1) A trailer. “We wouldn’t cover selling a trailer as you can’t post it”.
2) A fridge. “You would have to get a courier to pick it up”.
Paypal said that the non-payment of the TV was theft and that I should contact the police and that they would not offer me any further assistance.
I accused paypal of facilitating theft – and at that point they hung up!

yes its amazing how every time paypal are correct and couldnt possible make a mistake . ha well lost all the papers Isent them to prove my innocence and even the buyer told them this but still say that there correct so clearly if your a seller your a fraudster if your a buyer your a lier .fantastic these guys are fiction please tell me I am dreaming
