PayPal Want’s My Bank Info After 5 Years

I was a PayPal user in good standing for over five years. While trying to make a small purchase I found out they put a limitation on my account. I could no longer use PayPal unless I gave them my bank account information. They have had my major credit card number for five years ($25,000 limit) with zero problems for as long as I’ve had the account. Now they say I’m a risk and want my bank account on top of my credit card!

You would think a company of that size would reward good customers, but not PayPal.  They prefer to burden them with their absurd policies. After my experience I was shocked to learn how many other people were cancelling their PayPal accounts.

I talked to an EBAY representative after closing my PauPal account, and she told me 50% of EBAY complaints were related to PayPal issues.

they just did same thing to me. several years ago after they caused me $250 in nsf charges at my bank, i deleted bank account info from my profile. i work where i bank and don’t need any problems at work. i do not trust them with this info.

Indeed.. same thing here.. on the ebay page, it shows you can pay by credit card.. but clicking on that routes you through paypal.. which, after 4 years and many transactions, now seems to want to force me to submit my bank account info.. screw that, I’ll contact the sellers and buy with my credit card direct.. both paypal and ebay can kiss my a**.
