Paypal and Ebay’s system conflict over payment

I made several payments for auctions I won on 5/1. Paypal is showing them paid, ebay is saying that something went wrong with the transaction. They are leaving it to me to sort out the problem, which is ridiculous. They are the same company, and their records should match!

I thought ebay and PayPal were two of the best business models the internet has had as of yet, but they have completely incompetent leadership and will, no doubt, be an afterthought in a couple of years. If you have shares of ebay, sell them at the next opportunity. These companies leaders are amateurs.
