PayPal Account Frozen Three Times

I have been using Paypal for 9 years only to have them close down my company. First of all, I applied for a paypal debit card and to my surpise I found my account frozen after doing so.  I called paypay 4 or 5 times, waiting an hour to talk to them each time. I was told my account was frozen because I applied for the debit card. I finally resolved the issue, but only after my company was forced to be closed for 2 weeks due to my PayPal account being frozen.

A few weeks later they froze my account again, saying they thought there was something fishy going on. This too was eventually resolved, and the account reinstated once again.

About a month later they had frozen it again, saying they had to many complaints! But the complaints I had received was because of PayPal closing my account twice, causing delayed shipments. And now and they want me to give them all this info that I just gave them last month!

My PayPal account is currently frozen with $1700 dollars in it, and I have just had enough. I filed a complaint with the BBB, and Paypal responded with “we are closing your account permanently”. I am fine with that. But then they said that they are not going to give me my money for 6 months!  My company is now complety out of business.

So I filed a complaint with the California State Attorneys Office. Now this is the thing. I been a great customer selling for 9 years or more using PayPal’s service, just to be treated this way. I will always speak badly of them, and have now reopened my company using Google Checkout with Stamps.com. Sure, it cost me $16.00 more a month than Paypal. But at least I dont have to worry any more about my account being closed down. Its well worth $16 a month for this peace of mind.

I have lost my business and a lot of customers because of paypal. They are not a good choice if you want to run an uninterrupted business.
