One loophole after another
I sent a piece of gold thru UPS after an eBay auction, but when UPS delivered it, they didn’t get a signature, even though they were required to. Naturally, the box the gold coin was in became “lost”, so eBay froze my PayPal account and took back the $1300. UPS claimed that it wasn’t their responsibility, because, buried in their website, there is a written policy that prohibits the sending of gold or silver. Of course, the sender is never required to read that disclaimer, nor to agree to it. So, now I have to sue UPS.
