Lost $1500 to PayPal
Rec’d notice of interest in my item from Diana Timson -PayPal advised me to send $1500 to shipping agent before receiving my $3500 for my item, a Dobro Hawaiian Guitar.
Agent: Khristy James, 5127 W Girard Ave, Philadelphia, PA, 19131, USA. forwarded the money as advised by Paypal, now they want another $2500 and threaten legal action if I do not send it. The paypal address: service@intl,paypal.com, A. Williams, the Paypal team. I normally would never send money but trusted Paypal to be a legitimate broker so I did so. Now, I’m out $1500 that I can’t afford. I have kept record of correspondence on my computer for evidence. Will be contacting RCMP on Monday morning to report this. This was my first experience with Paypal, and it will most likely be my last as there is no security when funds are transferred. I believe this is a scam and have records to prove it.
