PayPal limited my account because they owe me money
I have been a seller on Ebay for over 8 years with no negative feedback. Recently I stopped selling due to other work commitments, and have only made a few purchases on Ebay.
When Ebay kept invoicing me for running a store, my balance went into the negative. And instead of me owing them money for sellers fees, they owed me money because they had over charged me. It is only a small amount of around $15.00.
Two days after I got the invoice showing they owed me funds, I recieved notice that my paypal account was limited and I could not a recive or send money. I have rung and emailed Paypal a number of times, each time being told my account was limited for a reason but I was not entittled to know why.
Eventually they informed me if I sent them copies of my drivers licence, passport, phone and power bills they might let me buy off ebay through PayPal again. I have no intention of sending such personal items to PayPal, they already have access to all of my credit card and banking details.
Here is a company that we have given far to much power to already, a company that we all happily give some of our most personal information. It is a scary thought to think how many peoples fianances this company can control already.

paypal are complete scammers they hold your money for 6 months even when no cases are open on your ebay account , i have over £400 in my paypal account and now have to wait 6 months , if no cases are open they should give u your money back , but far as i can see they get intrest for my money so they should give me back that as well after 6 months , if i held their money they wouldnt have a buiness , so yes PAYPAL ARE SCAMMERS
