Just Awful

Rented a flat in Dorset and was trading quite happily on Ebay as les-cullottes. My land lady was involved in a serious road accident which involved brain surgery and she was hospitalised for about 8 weeks. As I was the only person in the house I had to look after after her until she recoverd. Before her accident she had purchased about 4 low cost items on Ebay but being in hosoital was not able to pay for these for some weeks which she did. Despite being notified of the circumstances her account was suspended and it took her many months to get it back. In the meantime Ebay suspended my account because I was deemed to be in the same residence. I have never been able to get it restored.

My present partner who is 78 years old set-up a small business on Ebay anthealemene. She sold several items on Ebay. Two of these items were to be sent to customers via a courier Parcel Forec which is endorsed by eBay and their service was paid for by Paypal. The carrier didnot collect the items(she lives in France) and eBay and Paypal were both notified of the problem by email. Non response was received. As a result her account was suspended and all money in her Paypal account has been frozen and she cannot obtain this money. Furthermore she is unable to use her debit card or credit cards when trying to pay for any item via Paypal even though she has no outstanding amount owing and Paypal owe her about £500.
