I owe money for fraud account

I have had a paypal account for 3 years, I am just NOW getting an email and account freeze on a “supposed” acct linked to me from over 3 years ago, which by the way was fraudulently made with MY info. First they said my acct has “limited access” until it is resolved, which they did a quick review and determined it not to have been “fraud” I have NEVER used this email and bank they are saying was back in 2008! I have using MY acct for past 3 years with NO PROBLEMS…when I asked WHY ON EARTH it took them 3 years to let me know 3 years ago there was another acct with MY information linked to me they said “because the recently acquired new software to link other accts with current ones” Now I asked them to SEND me the info they HAVE and all they want it $$$$ …one email says I “owe” 224.00 another says 646.00 and they wanted ME to make a payment on an acct that I am disputing!! REALLY?? I told her I spoke to an atty and he needs the paperwork from THEIR end!!! Well she blew that off… so bye bye Paypal!!!
