I lost the case I won??
Bought Iphone on Ebay. Paid via Paypal. Seller sent via Registered Post which requires a signature on receipt. Waited a month item never came. Filed dispute, escalated to claim and it was taking way way too long. This was my first claim ever. Found out that my credit card company offered me protection so went with them for a chargeback. Logged on to cancel my claim as Paypal guidelines say to do. It had already changed to Chargeback status with a note for me not to do anything if I wanted it to continue. Got an email the same day saying the same thing too. So left it alone. Credit Card was reimbursed within a couple of days. Paypal Chargeback status still remained for awhile then changed to Case Close – insufficient evidence to dispute the Chargeback. Which to me meant I won the case and all is good. Now profile is limited and they want me to deposit the money into my Paypal account. Called them to clarify and they agreed I am in a loophole but clearly now Paypal has paid for the item and needs to be reimbursed. They said Credit Card company always get its money back regardless of the outcome. They said I lost the case even though it clearly says there was insufficient evidence to dispute it? What the????
