I couldn’t pay with paypal on ebay
Hi,
Here’s just another testimonial to PayPal’s abominable “service”.
I tried to do a payment for something I intended to buy on eBay using PayPal, only to find out that an old credit card (which I had deleted previously) was still linked to my PayPal account. When I tried to add my new credit card to my account, the system told me that it had been linked to another account (!!!) already … without telling me to which one.
So when I logged a support ticket, I didn’t get any sort of resolution, just an email that I should call their help desk.
When I did that (three times), I was put on hold for 15 minutes (three times) without any voice over or explanation.
So I gave up.
Bottom line: PayPal points for:
Usability: 0
Reliability: 0
Support: 0
Customer Friendliness: 0

Paypal isn’t exactly known for their stellar customer service. They sided with a buyer who stole merchandise from me; I tried getting a hold of their support team and was given the run-around. After that, I learned never to work with them. They are the pits!
PayPal customer service sucks!!! I try getting a hold of them myself and never get threw. There policy is very confusing for me. So I decided to call them to get more information and a better understanding before I sign up. Just like you I would be on hold or would be transfer to this department or that department. I was also told to send an email so in a couple of days is would be reached back. It was crazy!!!! Thank God I went with another merchant company.
