How long does paypal take to release my money?
My daughter had her phone stolen her friends that live overseas wanted to replace it as a surprise. They asked me to open a paypal account so they could all chip in and help replace her phone. We raised the 800 dollars needed for the new iPhone that she wanted. However when I went to buy the phone and my paypal account was limited. They have since made me fill out a mission statement and again confirm my identity. I am now waiting for the results I’ve called them twice and emailed them all to no avail. If they close my account i will refund all money back and work out another way for her friends to do this for her..i thought paypal was meant to be simple and easy its been a huge nightmare. If I had known then what I know now about paypal I would certainly not used them. Does any one know how long I am going to have to wait for the money to be released?

Well it can take anywhere from 21-180 days for them to release your money. This is how they operate. Their new policy is to hold all fund for 21 days but since your account has been limited it will most likely be 180.
Well since your account has been limited your probably looking at 180 days. Then after the 180 days you have to jump through hoops and hurdles to try and get them to release the money. I really despise this company and all the stupid bullshit they out people through. Good luck with getting your money
