Frozen accounts and other hassles with paypal
My customer used his PayPay account that he hadn’t used in quite sometime. His bank card registered with PayPal had expired, unknown to him. My PayPal account was frozen for 1 week until this customer updated his bank information with PayPal.
Another scenario: I received a payment for a purchase that PayPay sent to an old email account that I never ever used for my Pay Pal account. That email account had been closed for more than 2 years. My listing clearly stated the correct email address for my Pay Pal account. I called Pay Pal, was told to fax information to prove who I am and that the payment needed to go to the correct PayPal account I had on file. I faxed info, called PayPal several times, jumped through all of their hoops for 2 months until I just said forget it. Of course I took care of my customer and shipped his product, all at a total loss for my business.
