$50,000.00 freeze by PayPal!
PayPal has placed $50,000.00 of my money into what they call a “reserve.” There was no warning or notification sent to me regarding this until after the fact. I got a letter from “Bryan” in the Risk Management department about 2 minutes after it happened, but he’s not available to talk to when I call.
The letter doesn’t explain how or why it happened except for a very general canned response outlining just about anything anyone with a PayPal account could or will be doing normally.
This is what you get for trusting PayPal with your money. Never again. I’m following the advice of another post and contacting the Texas State Banking Commission to file a complaint.
