PayPal complaint filed with the Texas Banking Commission
Complaint:
I live in Texas and recently my PayPal account was frozen just like so many others have been. The Reason PayPal gave was that they felt I was an at risk buyer and made to many complaints because I had one individual that tried to scam me (which netted them getting a Postal fraud charge against them) and that i needed to be placed in a Limited account status and money (2000.00 ) siezed and held for 6 months.Well after yelling and screaming and getting an attorney,,, it all boiled down to filing a complaint with the Texas Banking Commision 2601 N. Lamar Boulevard Austin Texas 78705-4294 Phone 877-276-5554 and Fax 512-475-1288…. The commission does oversee PayPal in Texas and if they do have the ability to stop PayPal from dong business in The state… The interesting part is they seemed to be very interested n the funds siezure, as PayPal is not a Bank nor are they a law enforcement agency. So the question is do they have the authority to just hold peoples money with no due process of the law, Secondly the commission person i talked to said they very much interested in the reason that paypal siezes so many accounts…The word i am trying to get out is if anyone has a problem with PayPal in Texas , NOW is the time to complain to this office, The permit that PayPal is trying to renew to do business in Texas is being held due to complaints, so Pay Pal is paying attention to how the commission will rule, IF act as a group of wronged individuals, we may get someting done and get a strike back at a company that seems to have no regard for the individuals and their rights as a buyer or seller…
I am trying to get this word out, and thought you may be able to help
