Fast and Loose with my money

Classic. I rent a vacation home on vrbo.com which requires Paypal to use a credit card. Paypal collects my $4800 from my VISA card, pays my renter…and then done right? No. 10 days later Paypal informs me that they demanded the renter refund my money to Paypal, which now will “hopefully) come to me (credit to my visa) in another week. Paypal told my renter it was a problem with my credit card (not true>>>>verified) and told me it was a problem with the renter. I am out my money for 3 weeks…and still have no vacation rental! Deceptive and untrustworthy>>>Paypal is.
