Ebayer Gets Item, PayPal Refunds Him, Seller Loses

I sold a new welder on Ebay, and after receiving the payment via’ PayPal I shipped the item to the buyer.

As it turns out, the guy who bought it was a flake, and Ebay cancelled his membership. In the meantime he filed a dispute claiming that he didn’t get the welder.  So PayPal reversed the payment for the welder and held my funds .  So I sent them proof, including the tracking info showing that the item was delivered and signed for.

That was 6 months ago, and I have been corresponding back and forth between PayPal & Ebay – with neither taking responsibility for the problem.

I was told that the $495 payment was reversed back to buyer. After I complained that I wanted my money back in my account,  I was still given the run around.  So this guy ended up with my welder and a refund, and there is nothing I can do.
