eBay takes 10% of our profits

I just made a purchase with my cell phone and it didn’t ask me whether I wanted to use my bank (primary) or credit card. It paid through the bank and I was charged $37.50 twice (once for insufficient funds and another for overdraft). I only have the bank account for PayPal as I don’t want to expose any funds to cyber thieves. They won’t let you make your credit card primary so as to make more money each time you purchase of sell something. I’d like to start a service to compete with them and Ebay as well but don’t know how to go about doing it. Ebay is now up to 10% of your item profit.
