I sold a very expensive Gibson Guitar on Ebay to a person in Dubai. The guitar was only 3 months old and was in new condition. The buyer paid me via Paypal approx 3000.00. When the buyer received the Guitar he was thrilled and left me great positive feedback.

Approx. 2 weeks later Paypal took the money from my account stating that the buyer was unhappy with the guitar and was sending it back to me under the guise of the item was significantly different than described. I contacted Paypal and told them that I don’t believe what the buyer stated and would not accept the item back.

The buyer sent a box back to me that was not the box or weight that I had originally sent hime thus I refused the box. In the meantime the buyer got his refund and kept the Guitar and sold it on Ebay using the pictures that I took originally and described the guitar as being in perfect condition like new.

I am out the 3000.00 and Paypal will not even consider reopening the claim after I even sent the buyers ad on Ebay that showed how he described it and that he did infact sell it. HOW CAN THIS BE ?
