Customer Service At PayPal does not Exist
On feb 9th we sent a check to 12312 port grace blvd to fund our account. This was a mistake as apparently this is not possible. We must have been confused between funding and paying a PayPal credit card balance as that is what a cs rep told us that address is for. However, despite not having a PayPal credit card the check was cashed and not applied to any account we have. The endorsement stamp on the back states it was deposited to account 4496825217.
My biggest issue is the terrible customer service in dealing with this issue. I spent over an hour on the phone 2 times, being transferred 3 times each time and nobody was able to help me. Eventually someone gave me a fax number and we submitted a claim on march 7th and again about a month later. We have not heard anything back and I do not even know who to contact without spending another hour plus on the phone. This is extremely frustrating. They have terrible customer service work flow and are too large to serve anyone well.

If I was you I would see if you can dispute the check. I’m not sure if it works the same as disputing a credit card but it’s worth a shot. I do agree with you. Their customer service really sucks and it useless.
Have you tried talking to your bank about reversing the payment somehow? Dealing with Paypal customer service is one of the most frustrating things a person can do. And their e-mail support is nothing but automated replies with FAQ’s as the answers to something that may or may come close to your questions.
I don’t understand why, when you call Paypal, they always have to transfer you and all they really do is hang up on you after 15 minutes of being on hold. Funny how when I called with some questions about signing up they answered right away and were very friendly and helpful. Once they got a hold of my money they dont gives a rats ass.
