Customer got refund despite proof of delivery
I sold a ring for $450.00 on Online Auction (OLA); I love this venue for selling, and have been selling through OLA for years since I left ebay because of their unfair seller practices. The person I sent the ring to (via insured Priority Mail) said that she did not receive the ring, even though her postman provided evidence of delivery. The person filed a dispute with Paypal. They gave that criminal a refund, even though she had the ring; my account was debited for $450.00. I have been a paypal user since day 1 of their inception; however, they preferred to aid & abet this criminal in stealing from me. I could not get the Post Office to pay up on the insurance that I bought because they had proof of delivery. So I was out an expensive ring, and money!
