Can’t Confirm Location With PayPal, I Have 2 Residences
Limited PayPal account?
For the last few days I have spent hours of my time trying to send emails through the PayPal system to get some help for my situation. My account has been limited, and the reason for the limitation was completely unknown to me.
After 3 days of wasting my time, I finally got an answer. PayPal informed me that “my location is not confirmed”. However, I have used my current account information for my PayPal transactions for years, including my login information and password. So I do not understand why all of the sudden my location would need to be confirmed?
The situation I am facing now is that I cannot physically confirm my presence in Vancouver, because I live in Australia during the winter months (which is where I am at present).
Below is one of the many email’s I have sent to PayPal customer service in an attempt to get this situation cleared up-
“I do not understand why my location is so important, isn’t your system supposed to be accessible from any part of the world?
Could you please write back to me and provide a phone number I can call instead of having to spend days trying to get through your web system? This needs to be resolved quickly so that I can pay my vendors in a timely manner”.
