Cannot Access PayPal through Firefox

I have tried several times to access PayPal from Mozilla Firefox but I get a message saying server not recognized. I then went through an unsecured proxy server and gained access. But when I tried to access my account I got a page demanding my full credit card and bank account number as a supposed security check. Of course it all seems suspicious to me and I have not entered this information. I want to talk to a representative but how do you do that?

    Hello BK. Have you checked your Firefox proxy settings? There is a setting for the use of a proxy server in Firefox, and the setting would need to be changed any time you decide not to use the proxy. A firewall or antivirus software could also prevent you from accessing your PayPal login. See the referenced link below for details-

    As far as the page demanding the personal information, it sounds like you may have contracted some kind of redirecting virus or other form of malware. You might try running Combofix, you can download it using the link below-
