Account permanently limited
I was selling some used computer parts on ebay, total items sold was 4.
After receiving the payments which totaled $780, I tried to withdraw the money to my bank account. However, PayPal decided it was too risky for them so they limited my account.
My PayPal account is verified, they have information about my bank account, credit cards and even my social security number. PayPal had nothing to say about a simple transfer from my friend to me, but they are requesting invoices for the items I sold on ebay.
How can I get invoices on my used computer parts?!
So after a long time arguing with a representative, and then another one, and then with a supervisor, they finally allowed me to transfer the balance of my account to my bank (the $780 for the ebay sales and $200 I already had in there).
However, Paypal is no longer going to transfer money for me. They limited my account for 180 days with no chance for me to appeal.

Hello Alexander.
You certainly did the right thing by getting in contact with the right person at PayPal in order to have your money released, this always takes a lot of persistence. Most people get frustrated and give up after talking to the first rude representative.
If you want to keep your account open, even though the PayPal supervisor says you cannot appeal there are ways to get around this. You only spoke with a supervisor, if you want to have the account restored you need to get in contact with the person who actually limited your account. If you can contact another supervisor and get the email address of the person who made the decision to permanently limit your account, this person has the authority to reverse this decision. You can only contact this person in this department via’ email.
Otherwise, you can simply open a new PayPal BUSINESS account, just don’t use any information from any previous accounts you have had. Use a new bank account, different credit card etc.
