we use our account for our vacation rental which has many transactions in on-season to hold a reservation, pay for the rental and deposit refund at departure. During the end of on-season, Paypal froze my accounts with a balance of $6000, and now require bank statements, proof of house ownership, and contracts to get our account released. I am appalled and the thought of giving personal documents of not only my own but also my tenants seems excessive and invasive. In addition the documentation requests have been inconsistent and there is no single point of contact to help us resolve the issue. I think it is amazing that we can’t even close our account and get our money.
