Account Limited Permanently
I have been a UK PayPal member since 2001 with an unblemished record. I run a handful of websites. No refund requests, no chargebacks. But out of the blue I get a “Account Limited Permanently” notice stating that I must remove all the PayPal buttons and references to all my websites. They go on to say that they will be holding the money in my account for a period of 140 days in case of chargeback claims etc. yet I have never had a chargeback claim in over ten years. The notice concludes that there in no right of appeal to the notice. Now is not that undemocratic and must surely be contrary to the Constitution of the U.S? I am completely miffed by their unilateral action without notice. I would definitely suggest that no one should even think about opening a PayPal account.
